Brave Eagle comic books are based on the CBS TV series which aired from 1955 to 1956. Brave Eagle was a peaceful Cheyenne chief. The TV show centered upon clashes with other tribes, attempts to prevent war, encroachment from white settlers, racial prejudice, and a threat of smallpox. The 5 comic book issues, in order, are named Four Color Comics #705, 770, 816, 879, 929.
