Charles Biro's Little Wise Guys were no ordinary comic book kid gang. Though illustrated in a straightforward, line-drawn style, their stories were complex, engrossing dramas packed with plot and subtle character delineation. This debut issue features two classic reprints from the original Lev Gleason Publications comics out of the Golden Age. Heroes By The Dozen, illustrated by Norman Maurer, and Jumped Or Fell, both originally seen in Daredevil #72, 1950. Plus, a text overview of the comic book history of Daredevil and the Little Wise Guys, by Bill Black. Color cover based on an illustation by Norman Maurer, interiors are black and white with graytones.
