Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen comic books are the adventures of a 'cub reporter', photographer and office boy at the Daily Planet, where Clark Kent worked. The series followed Jimmy's exploits and adventures, primarily consisting of getting into trouble only to have Superman save him. However, from issues #133 to 148, Jack Kirby took over the writing and drawing and the book became part of Kirby's 'Fourth World' which also included New Gods (1971 series), Forever People (1971 series) and Mister Miracle (1971 series). After issue 163, the title was changed to 'Superman Family' and Jimmy Olsen stories rotated with other secondary characters in the Superman galaxy of personalities.
