Valeria -- not so much a bat, more a demon -- was stolen from her natural parents and raised by the king of the Fire Bats, Lith Kasti. She was to be his concubine when she "grew" into a beautiful woman. This is the saga of Valeria, her brother 'Rilla, and his companions the Were-Breds, as they journey into the unreal depths of the earth to rescue a sister that 'Rilla hasn't seen since they were children.
