These are the adventures of Clark Kent as Superboy. In the Superman mythology from 1939 to 1986, Clark became a super-hero as a youngster. But in 1987, DC comics changed the Superman mythology and he only became a super-hero as an adult. Currently, Superboy (that is, Clark Kent) as a young Superman, does not exist. Instead, the post-1987 Superboy is an alien.
