Marvel's top heroes, and villains, are transported to an alien world, with the evil Beyonder forcing them to battle to satisfy his curiosity about earthlings. Issue #8 featured the first appearance of Spider-Man in his black uniform, which was biologically alive. The series was followed up in 1985 by "Secret Wars II".
