Set in the future, Cosmic Ray follows the exploits of Raymond Mann, once a proud member of the Stellar Police Force who was kicked out for allegedly killing a man in cold blood. When we first meet him, Ray is working for a semi-legal businessman as a 'bloodhound,' searching for stolen merchandise and the person who did the stealing. Unbeknownst to Ray, he is being shadowed during his investigation by a small group of strangers. Little does he know that they may one day become his salvation... if he lives long enough, that is!
