Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids comic books are based on the animated series created, produced, and hosted (in live action bookends) by comedian Bill Cosby. The show, based on Bill Cosby's remembrances of his childhood group of friends, focused on the lovable, oversized Albert, with his signature exclamation "Hey hey hey!". The show always had an educational lesson emphasized by Cosby's live-action cameos, and the group always gathered in their North Philadelphia junkyard to play a rock song on their cobbled-together instruments.
